The Region of Ionian Islands, partner of #AZA4ICE, held the 3rd LiRRIE in Lefkada, bringing together local authorities, professionals, citizens, and stakeholders.
The meeting focused on the Palaio Lagoon pilot area, the Action Plan for Lefkada Lagoon, and the transition towards more circular, inclusive, and sustainable aquaculture.
Through presentations and open discussion, participants exchanged views, shared proposals, and strengthened local cooperation for the protection of aquatic ecosystems and the future of sustainable aquaculture in the region.
This exchange once again highlighted the importance of participatory approaches and local engagement in shaping solutions adapted to the needs of each territory.
