What we achieve

AZA4ICE defines the Allocated Zones for Circular Aquaculture (C-AZA) in 8 pilot areas fostering an inclusive and circular economy and triggering new business opportunities in the aquaculture sector. We establish the Living Responsible Research and Innovation Ecosystems (LiRRIEs) to engage stakeholders of 5-Helix in developing Action Plans for a sustainable and inclusive transition of the sector. These Plans, aligned with Smart Specialization Strategies (S3), are designed for adoption by public authorities across Euro-Mediterranean region. Our efforts enhance transnational cooperation, raise eco-consciousness and promote sustainable aquaculture practices that benefit society as a whole.
