AZA4ICE 1st LiRRIE event in Velika Gorica, Croatia by AIH
Adria Innovation Harbour is organizing a targeted workshop aimed at various relevant aquaculture stakeholders, focusing on sustainable and innovative practices within the sector. During this three-hour event, members of LiRRIE will receive specialized education on circular economy practices relevant to aquaculture. Additionally, participants will be presented with an in-depth analysis of the current legal and regulatory frameworks, as well as licensing processes that impact aquaculture development and the implementation of innovative circular production systems such as Integrated Multi-Trophic Aquaculture (IMTA) and Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS). The workshop will also include a session dedicated to mentoring and showcasing examples of best practices for public stakeholders which will emphasize effective aquaculture management and monitoring strategies drawn from experiences within the Euro-Mediterranean region and internationally.
