The 4th LiRRIE Event in Bulgaria will take place in Varna at the Panorama Hall of Rosslyn Dimyat Hotel Varna, bringing together experts, researchers, and stakeholders to discuss progress and future steps toward circular aquaculture in the region.

The event will open with welcome remarks from Assoc. Prof. Elitsa Petrova-Pavlova (IFR-Varna), followed by a presentation of the final C-AZA results from the pilot testing of the AZA4ICE methodology in the pilot area. Participants will also be introduced to practical guidelines for circular aquaculture practices.

The afternoon session will focus on the proposed Action Plan for transitioning to circular aquaculture in the Varna Large Bay area, presented by Dr. Philip Penchev. The program will conclude with a round table discussion dedicated to the Action Plan and the future development of C-AZA in Bulgaria, encouraging dialogue and exchange among stakeholders.
