3rd Meeting of the LiRRIE Network in Šibenik, Croatia

Building on the outcomes of the previous LiRRIE Network meetings in Croatia, the Public Institution Development Agency of Šibenik-Knin County (PI DA SKC) is pleased to host the 3rd Meeting of the LiRRIE Network in Šibenik.PI DA SKC warmly invites you to a public gathering dedicated to presenting and discussing the results of one year of monitoring conducted in the Šibenik pilot area, implemented within the AZA4ICE project.
The workshop will also serve to agree on key guidelines and conclusions that will support the development of an Action Plan for the transition to circular farming practices in aquaculture. As the Croatian contact point for the LiRRIE Network, this third workshop will bring together
members and stakeholders to focus on:
– Presentation of one-year monitoring results from the Šibenik pilot area
– Discussion and validation of key findings with relevant stakeholders
– Joint definition of guidelines and conclusions for the Action Plan towards circular aquaculture farming practices

Over the past year, the LiRRIE Network has brought together stakeholders from Šibenik-Knin County and beyond, including representatives of the public sector, aquaculture and fisheries entrepreneurs, shellfish farmers, as well as experts from research institutions and the scientific community. This meeting aims to continue the dialogue and strengthen joint planning of the steps needed to enable the transition towards a circular economy in aquaculture within our region.
